Page 6 of 6 A Note About “Fashionable” Colors: There is no doubt that Stainless Steel has been the hottest look for high-end kitchen appliances over the last few years, and there’s no sign of this trend burning out. However, you should be aware that color is making its way back into culinary high-fashion. Spurred on by consumers who wanted a little accent color in their countertop cooking gadgets, companies like Kitchen Aid, Krupps and the like, have recently infused a broad spectrum of colored appliances into their lines, and this has carried over to bigger items like stoves and refrigerators. Contemplating the Cabinets: When all is said and done, it’s still the cabinetry that will bring your “gourmet kitchen” together…and make it into an “entertainment center.” What good would it be to spend all kinds of money on the latest and greatest appliances…only to have them stick-out like sore thumbs?
