Dear Lisa, I love the way my skin looks and feels after an in spa facial, can you recommend products that I can use at home that will give me the same results?
Shelly Long Branch NJ
Shelly, We all love the experience of an in spa facial, but thanks to "hot" spas like BLISS we are able to turn our homes into full out super spas! My favorite at home facial is the Bliss Triple Oxygen, this is the fastest, most effective at home facial yet. Start with Bliss Clog-Dissolving Cleansing Milk, this exfoliating, skin brightening cleanser is safe for all skin types and truly gets deep into those pores for a cleaner than clean super cleanse. Next, apply Bliss Triple Oxygen mask, this is the ultimate product for fresher, younger looking skin! For your post-treatment glow, apply Bliss Sleeping Peel Gel, which will boost collagen, speed cell turnover and smooth and brighten your complexion. Your skin will thank you after this treatment and you can treat yourself whenever your skin needs a boost!
Dear Lisa,
It seems like Botox has become a mainstream procedure for women looking to plump their lips. Is there any over-the-counter products that can plump my lips without going through with the procedure?
Jody, Spring Lake
It seems everyone these days wants a plumper pout and there are so many products on the market that promise to deliver. Look for products with ingredients that help retain moisture , and those that use alphahydroxy acids or retinol. These products will help increase collagen and you will get a lasting effect for long term results. These are considered treatments and must be applied daily, when used properly these products definitely work! Products that use ingredients like cinnamon and cayenne pepper will give you instant pout but the effect is temporary. Some great ones to try are Lip Fusion XL with 2x micro-injected collagen, Celebrity Lips and Schiapparelli XX-tra lips.
I've been labeled a "work- oholic" in the past, not attending company parties or going out on weekends. I've decided to attend some holiday parties this year and need some advise on how to make my hair and makeup look "special and trendy" and easy to do myself.
Since you have decided to "let your hair down" for real, this holiday I would first suggest some hair extensions. Hair u Wear has a great collection of easy , clip on, do yourself extensions, pony's and pieces. There are so many different styles, depending on the hairstyle you want to achieve. They have also created a new line for Jessica Simpson which have perfect looks for holiday parties and are super sexy! Check out the different styles online, they come in every color imaginable and are foolproof. The look this season for makeup is all about the eyes, sultry eyes and a pale pout is what it's all about. To get the look use a pencil liner ,black or gray work best, around top lashline from inner to outer corner, using the same pencil line your lower lashes than smudge with a liner brush, next ad a brown, gray or even dark green shadow over lid and into crease, blending color up and outward, than dust a natural highlight shadow over just your brow bone. Add "lots" of mascara, or be bold with fake eye lashes. Apply a natural blush and finish with neutral lips, I love theBalm Plump Your Pucker Tinted Gloss, Cocoa My Coconut. You might want to apply some super dark nailpolish on short, manicured nails to pull the whole look together...enjoy!
