With so many places to choose from, how do you pick a relaxing, yet fun place to grab a drink in downtown Red Bank? Well, having our office right in Downtown Red Bank has it perks, so the staff at Currents has made the rounds and come up with our "top five" picks for a quick cocktail. 1- Echo on Monmouth Street - Really cool scene, light tapas menu for snacks and some amazingly unique drinks put them at the top of our list. 2- Red on Broad St. - Go there to be seen and enjoy a drink right after work on a Friday and you'll know why those in the know rank their bar scene high on the list of favorites. 3- Dublin House on Monmouth St. - Nothing pretentious, just a good old fashioned pub with amazing Irish beers on tap and authentic "un-stuffy" decor. Great in the summer when the back bar is open . 4- Ashes on Broad St. - Now under new ownership, they will soon be the only place to grab a smoke indoors thanks to their permit to sell and smoke cigars. Great, mature bar crowd and raw bar.
5- Danny's on Bridge Ave - A long time favorite for the mature crowd in Red Bank, Danny's is still a great place to grab a beer after the train ride home or a hard day of work locally. Now you can even grab something light to eat from their new sushi menu. |
